Age 35.
Occupation; electrician
This year I will be running in the new sport class with a blaster1.
It has a 701 engine with a single carb, after market head & protec pipe. There
will be a few more mods to be done but it all takes time and money, so as soon
as some is available I will take it to jetshed for a ‘good looking at’.The
hull has a rear exit exhaust conversion & UMI steering system, other than that
it is standard. The pump is standard and even runs a standard pitched prop
taken from a blaster 800.
I also have a superjet with a 760 jetshed built freestyle motor which pulls
like a train, footholds ATP pole & bracket, UMI steering, re-pitched prop and
too many other bits to list.
But as my freestyle is not up to much I also bring it along and the other
riders are more than willing to try to teach me new tricks.

I Live in Northampton and ski at
Billing Jetski Centre. Started skiing in 2002 on old 550, then bought SXI pro
750 and loved it. Started freestyle in Feb 2005 at an FNT clinic and have been
hooked ever since.
Ski was changed to a 2004 Superjet in 2005 in search of a lighter ski and more
horsepower. Ski now has a 771cc powervalve engine, ADA head, freestyle porting,
Factory pipe wet pipe, twin 48mm full spectrum carbs, Ally flywheel, ATP fully
programmable Total Loss ignition, shortened -7" Rick Roy ally pole, Magnum pump
and skat impeller and a stupid spray job!
I'm blessed with a wife who encourages me to ski and learn more tricks cos "its
the only thing that makes me happy and i'll only be able to do this for a few
more years because my body is getting too old and knackered!" - unfortunately,
she is as usual right!

2006 F.N.T. Amateur Secondary Vice Champion
Age: 21, I'm just over tired. Live at: West
Malling, Kent.
Work at: FMCG Sales Rep (the master of the free lunch).
Ski at: Bucks Leisure, Marlow and Herne Bay with JAWS.
Shop at:
www.wakesport.com – For
all your water sports needs (shameless plug).
Least favourite phrase: Girl Power! - I don't even own one Spice Girls album.
Favourite phrase: We will send down the murkiest murkmen from Murkdom, on a
Monday
(which is murky), and we will murk you.
Ski: Looks camper than a row of pink tents but it still kicks ass - like He-man.
It has a 760 ported engine by
www.lokicustoms.co.uk,
a 24-7 lowered hood and loads of other stuff (if I knew I'd list what). It
drinks petrol and eats spark plugs and when it doesn't work my husband fixes it
because I am a girl. (Emily Pankhurst I'm sorry but you really were wasting your
time).
Sponsers: Loki and my husband who does everything except ride my ski for me!Jet ski ambition: To raise my game enough to give Jaimiee a run for his money at
the J.S.R.A. and the F.N.T. 2007 and to pull a barrel
roll.

JSRA WINTER SERIES 2006/07......4th overall

Age 39,Profession:-Marketing
Consultant (run Ogam Marketing in partnership with my twin sister Karen)
Live in:-Reading,Took up jet skiing September 2004
My ski:-The yellow bird. A 2003 Superjet with a nice paint job (in myopinion)
Modifications:-Riva cylinders, dry pipe, bilge pump, pole spring, footholds,
handholds, nice paint job, freestyle prop and scoop grate, UMIquick steering,
freestyle pump cone. Shortly to add side exit exhaust and water injection.
Skiing ambitions I’d love to be able to pull a back flip or barrel rolland
live to tell the tale! Would also be nice to take a 1st, 2nd or 3rd placing in
the AM section of the FNT but for me the most important thingis to keep learning
and keep improving. I hired a jet ski at the age of 37, having wanted to do this
since I was 12! Very jealous of kids on skis and wish I had taken this up 20
years ago!
Best moment :-Doing a head stand on the ski for the first time. I couldn’tstop
grinning, and at that point took up freestyle because I started to think if I
could do that, anything might be possible.
Most scarey moment Accidental rodeo. Got my foot wedged on the throttlecoming
back over the hood from a headstand, and did the world’s maddestand
unintentional rodeo. When I finally got out of it I was on one side of the lake
and the ski on the other. Needless to say I haven’t made that mistake again.
My idea of heaven Skiing early in the morning with the sun coming up andold
nog the heron catching his breakfast
Sponsors Not yet. That would be nice.

I live in Sutton Coldfield and ski every
weekend at Kingsbury Water Park -
my second home. Started skiing about 3 years ago after Richard ‘Mad Rick’
helped me to overcome my fear of water and learn to swim. I bought my own
ski 12 months ago (boys just don’t share nicely!) and from that point
started taking things more seriously.
I followed Rick round the FNT last year and thought this year it was abouttime I
gave it a go.
Ski spec: 1997 SJ, 730cc, Joe Kenny hood, ATP pole, ATP head, Factory B,
lightened fly wheel, MSD enhancer and a few other bits and bobs…
Favourite trick : is always the last one I learnt - currently learning therodeo.
Ambition for this year : to learn some new tricks, put together a good
routine and have loads of fun in the process.
