Technical Rules and Regulations.
We don't want to burden everyone with
rules and regs, freestyle is fun and simple after all!
Basic Principles are:
- No aftermarket hulls in Am or Pro
class. This is to try and cap costs at an affordable level. (gladiator
challenge in August is an exception and is open to every ski type)
- We would like to see 800cc engine
size as a max size in Am class, but we are not going to enforce it and
will not require any engine strip.
- Pro class is open to any engine
to may wish to run.
- There is no restriction on any
additions or aftermarket parts you may wish to add.
- Your 2 minute routine starts when
you raise your hand. The horn will sound and a flag raised when there
are 15 seconds to go.
- Re-fuelling must be in a
designated area.
- Helmets are advisable, but not
mandatory.
- To keep the events on schedule,
riders are expected to be ready on time for their respective
competitions.
- Pro class is open to all riders.
Any rider who holds, or has held, a JSRA licence, or any other
competition licence, is NOT eligible for Amateur/ Beginner Class. This
includes the JSRA winter series. The reasoning is, if you feel competent
enough to enter a round of the British National Championships, then you
cannot really call yourself a beginner.
- At the end of each season, the
top 3 Am riders are promoted in Pro Class.
- Riders can drop a round for the
season championship. To clarify, the seasons best 5 results will count.
